Motherboard 99, 9C, A2 errors? Thread starter Bryan Start date Sep 1, For some reason when I turn it off I get those listed errors and my computer will never actually boot up to the Windows screen. All it will do is show the MSI logo screen, go to black and spit out those errors, and do that over and over. I left the computer for an hour and it was still doing the logo, the errors, the logo, the errors, etc.

The only way I know how to fix it is to boot from my disc and do a restore point for Windows 7 every time. So I have to leave my computer on for weeks. It's not a terrible issue but a hassle. I've checked online forums but no one actually has an answer for how to fix them. Anyone know what I can do or what the problem could be? I even unplug my peripherals and still it happened. Hello, I've just had an X99 system built for me with the following specs.

I am getting the debug code error 04 55 60 and there is no signal to screen and no connectivity to mouse and keyboard.

I would be very grateful for any assistance you may be able to offer.

Edit: Code is 04 60 55 in that order. Thanks for your help. I've gotten it to work by using only 1 stick of ram in slot 1, however when I put the second stick into the dual channel recommendation I think its DRIM5 it returns to this error code. It seems to me as though this is a RAM stick error as the second stick is not working in slot 1. The thing that gave me the fix was a very thorough push into the RAM slot.

You can't be gentle with it and when it seems like its all the way in, apply a little more pressure to make sure. Of course don't break your board but it needs some guns to get it in properly.

I had the same problem with same board and error codes my ram would work in slot one and tried it in each slot it's ment to go in and the stick would not work even though it worked in slot one same thing with mouse and keyboard and display I had to return motherboard and ram I tried everything for about a week.

This did not work for my system. Hi all, I'm in a similar situation. My stick of ram are all tested with memtest for about 3 hours each, so it's not a ram problem. I tried to flash the bios to a previous version, but nothing change. What can I do now? Have I to send my motherboard in RMA? Quote from: mastrodikiavi on March, I have the same issue I had a very similar issue.

Boot problems - codes B4, 9C Hello everyone, I'm having trouble with my current build.

During the first boot, the mobo hung at code B4, and then rebooted on its own. Switched BIOS, removed the video card, and got a D6 which should be normaland the system was on until I turned off. Plugged back the video card, the PC booted and got the AMI screen warning me that no keyboard was present. Plugged in an USB keyboard and Tried to boot the PC with just the video card, B4 again.

Is there something else I can try or is the mobo I've got faulty? Thanks for the support. List your complete system specifications including the model of all your USB devices connected to it. What is the model of your Dell monitor?

Do you by any chance have the USB cable from the monitor connected to your motherboard? If so, try disconnecting it. I've already tried disconnecting everything, keyboards, mouse, internal headers, everything. I still get a B4 code. Can you verify that you're seeing b4 and not 64? Users sometimes confuse the b with a 6. Double checked. I've found a thread that confused 64 and B4, and it's B4 b4. Disconnect every single cable from the motherboard.
